Participation as a part of social identity


The third seminar was held in Helsinki. 

The teaching materials are designed to challenge students to reflect on the nature of social participation. In the seminar students were asked to explore the opportunities they have for social participation in the Nordic countries and also to consider the barriers they have to break down in order to become more active citizens.

Social Participation

A series of student led discussions dealing with different types of Social Participation and how you can enhance, improve and widen your participation.

A supported writing process, where students write an open letter to decision makers focusing on issues that are important to the students.

Democracy, Free Elections and Participation

To learn about democracy, free elections and how everyone has the right to participate in democratic processes. Furthermore, students will learn how to write a formal letter (to a politician).
