Eira High School for Adults is a large provider of formal education at basic and high school level based in Helsinki, Finland. We have over 2500 students. Most of our students are young adults looking to complete their school education. We also are a major provider of education for students with a migrant background. Our core value is that everyone should have an equal and individualised chance at education.
SEMINAR 3
The teaching materials are designed to challenge students to reflect on the nature of social participation. In the seminar students were asked to explore the opportunities they have for social participation in the Nordic countries and also to consider the barriers they have to break down in order to become more active citizens.
